Daya releases 'Insomnia' music video

Daya has unveiled the music video for her latest single, ‘Insomnia’. Directed by Nick Harwood, the visual for ‘Insomnia’ takes place at a gritty rave, however, whilst everyone else is partying the night away, Daya sits alone in a darkly-lit room yearning for her loved one. Speaking about the video, Daya said in a press release: “‘Insomnia’ at its core is a gritty club pop anthem about missing the person you love, so it felt appropriate to take the visuals in a rave direction in a grimy abandoned warehouse that feels like something you’d stumble into at 3am in Berlin to temporarily neglect whatever pain you’re feeling.

Elizabeth McGovern on living in London: My personality fits in naturally here

Elizabeth McGovern is currently promoting Downton Abbey: A New Age. She plays the same character, obviously. She’s Lady Grantham, or Cora to her friends. Cora was a “dollar princess” – an American heiress who married into the British aristocracy in the late nineteenth century. Cora’s story, while fictional, is a happier version of the real phenomenon, and many British aristocrats went looking for American heiresses to prop up their own decaying castles and palaces.

Emily Blunt: Becoming a mother gives you so much more strength

Mary Poppins Returns opens next week and I can’t wait. Not only am I excited for the movie, but I am ready for Emily Blunt to stop promoting while I still like her. She hasn’t done anything wrong, but since this is a children’s movie, it seems she is only asked about motherhood and mothering. It’s a lot. In her interview with Luxury London, Emily said that being a mother changed her for the better and helped her find strength she’d never known she’d had.
